Disheartened

Most of my munzees are laminated colour copies of paintings that relate to where they are located - for example, my cemetery munzees have cemetery scenes. My forest munzees have paintings depicting forest themes. I've deployed 36. Got 18 captures. I thought people might enjoy the creativity. Of the 9 comments I've got so far not one person has said anything about the art theme.  Maybe people just want a simple game - capture the qr code get 5 points.

    I can understand your frustration. I'm a geocacher, and have been hearing horror stories of basic (free account) members visiting caches that are ammo cans, out in remote areas, and deficating in them. Disgusting. I don't understand why someone would do that. I imagine that they are young people.

    I like the idea you have about the pictures. Don't give up what you like doing. You should stick with it, if you like doing it.

    Thanks for the encouraging words tufelhundin. I posted a photo of one of my art cards in the forums. Got some interest from someone local so hopefully I'll see more activity and hopefully some feedback on my munzee hides. :)

    I would love to find a nice peice of art like that. I started geo caching today and was disheartened by when I saw the 3 caches I found were junk dollar store crap.. I guess that's ok for kids , but let me tell you I would be soooo DELIGHTED to find something as nice and thoughtful as your laminated art
